The Fabulous Caprettos, the GOAT’s of Australian Rock are back!
Australia’s favourite supergroup is back on tour with a few special guests and surprises as they once again present the best in Australian music – live!
Multi Award winner Dave Gleeson (The Screaming Jets/The Angels), supreme guitarist and vocalist Jack Jones (Southern Sons), Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc/Joe Satriani/Sammy Hagar) – with Joe Camilleri (The Black Sorrows) and special guests Russell Morris, Wendy Matthews (on select shows) will be performing their biggest hits together on stage as the Caprettos!
“This opportunity came up to play with my old pals—Rusty, Jack, Ray, and Dave. I’ve known Rusty and Jack a little longer, and over time, I’ve gotten to know Ray and Dave as well. Sharing the same stage with them has always felt right.

Adding a ‘Fabulous’ to their name, this iconic Australian rock supergroup will perform the greatest hits in Australian rock music history, including their own chart-topping classics, as part of the highly anticipated LIVE IN 25’ tour.

“The group’s name comes from a band in-joke. Someone jokingly referred to us as the “greatest of all time” or GOAT, but we didn’t want to appear egotistical. So, we replaced the acronym with the Italian word for goat—capretto.”
Music fans can expect to hear a catalogue of greatest hits – songs such as Southern Sons hits Hold Me in Your Arms, Always and Ever, Heart of Danger, The Black Sorrow’s Solid Rock and Chained to The Wheel, Thirsty Merc’s pop songs, In the Summertime, 20 Good Reasons, Mousetrap Heart, and Someday, Someday and Screaming Jets rock anthems such as Better, C’Mon and Shivers.
Special guests Russell Morris and Wendy Matthews will join the Caprettos on stage, performing their own big hits on select shows – making the shows even more Fabulous!
