Jack Johnson Sold Out Perth Shows Plus New Show Added

MELBOURNE, AU (9AM AEST MAY 19, 2026) / AUCKLAND, NZ (11AM NZST MAY 19, 2026) The announcement of the Jack Johnson SURFILMUSIC Australia & New Zealand tour has elicited a huge response from fans, with the first show in Melbourne, and 2 shows in Brisbane and Perth now sold out.  The Waipara Winehouse show in New Zealand on Sunday November 22 is also now officially sold out.

Due to the overwhelming demand Live Nation have announced new Australian dates for The Riverstage in Brisbane on Friday November 6, Kings Park & Botanic Garden in Perth on Thursday November 12, and Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on Wednesday November 18.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale at 11am local, Friday May 22. Australian shows (only) presented in partnership with Double J.

For the very first time, Jack will be joined by both Ben Harper and John Butler, special guests who will be performing solo and acoustic. This one of a kind 3 act line-up delivers what promises to be a series of unforgettable evenings of live music.

The SURFILMUSIC tour marks Johnson’s long-awaited return to the road since 2022 and will celebrate a new era of music, film, and environmental connection rooted in his chart-topping catalogue, spanning over twenty years. Visiting some of Australia and New Zealand’s finest venues, the tour kicks off on Friday November 6 at Brisbane’s Riverstage and concludes with a sold out show at Waipara Winehouse, North Canterbury in NZ on Sunday November 22.

Once again Jack will be hitting the stage with his long-time bandmates Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski and Zach Gill, and fans can expect to hear plenty of classic Jack including ‘Better Together’, ‘Flake’, ‘Inaudible Melodies’, ‘Taylor’ and ‘Sitting, Waiting, Wishing’.  New music will also feature tracks from the forthcoming ‘SURFILMUSIC’ soundtrack, which is scored by Jack Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez, and is set for world-wide release on Friday May 15.

‘SURFILMUSIC’, a documentary chronicling Johnson’s evolution from surfer to filmmaker to world-renowned musician, from his youth on the north shore of Hawaii through the making of his iconic surf films ‘Thicker Than Water’ (1999) and ‘The September Sessions’(2000), to the beginning of his music career.  Those classic surf films revealed Johnson’s artistic point of view through his lens and guitar, ultimately launching his music career.  Stay tuned for more details on the Australian and New Zealand screenings of ‘SURFILMUSIC’ and the iconic surf films.
