Foy Vance
Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Foy Vance returns in this anticipated visit following the release of IF, his eighth studio album and one of the most personal and reflective works of his celebrated career.
The new album arrives following the completion of 2026 release The Wake – the seventh and final instalment in a cycle of albums Vance began in the aftermath of his father’s sudden death in 1999. With the closure of this chapter, the Northern Irish troubadour then found himself somewhere entirely new as he revisited more than two decades of previously unreleased material.
Produced by Anderson East, IF marks a bold new chapter in a career that includes international breakthrough album Joy of Nothing (2013), featuring appearances from Bonnie Raitt and Ed Sheeran, and The Wild Swan (2016), executive produced by Elton John. Drawing on more than 27 years of previously unreleased material, the album sees Vance revisit and reimagine songs through the lens of experience and reflection, uncovering fresh perspectives on love, grief, longing and forgiveness.
Structured across three acts, IF: WE, IF: YOU and IF: I, the album explores humanity’s connection to the wider world, the complexities of love and the journey of self-discovery. The result is a sweeping and deeply human collection that reflects on the experiences that shape us and the choices that define our lives.
Long-time listeners and music lovers alike will have the opportunity to experience this new chapter firsthand, as Vance brings IF to the stage alongside fan favourites from across his celebrated catalogue. Known for his captivating vocals and deeply engaging live performances, this visit promises an evening of compelling storytelling.
The Paper Kites
Since forming in 2010, The Paper Kites have accumulated over two billion global streams across platforms, with 40 million monthly views across social media, earning widespread acclaim, RIAA Platinum certifications and numerous industry accolades along the way.
The Paper Kites have soundtracked major milestones over the past 15 years with their relatable lyrics, sweeping guitar melodies, and spellbinding harmonies. While the Australian five-piece band’s music has made an indelible impact with fans, their songs have also been featured in Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us, and Virgin River.
Their seventh studio album, If You Go There, I Hope I Find It, continues that legacy while showcasing the band’s ongoing creative evolution. Co-produced by The Paper Kites and Matt Redlich (Tom Snowdon, Husky, Mammals) and mixed by multi-Grammy Award-winner Jon Low (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The National), the 10-track collection builds on the rich storytelling and atmospheric sound that has defined the band’s career.
Lead single ‘When the Lavender Blooms’ embodies a sense of longing alongside sunny guitar parts and universal lyrics. Vulnerable songs like ‘Strongly In Your Arms’ and ‘Every Town’, both written by the band, and ‘Change of the Wind’ demonstrate their growth while the standout bluesy ‘Shake Off the Rain’ serves as the project’s anchor.
The band return to Australian stages for the first time since their anticipated 2024 national tour alongside the Roadhouse Band, which included sold out dates in their hometown of Melbourne. The band arrive fresh from international touring, including a standout run of dates across North America.
With decades of acclaim, distinctive artistry and exceptional live reputations, Foy Vance and The Paper Kites come together on stages across Australia next January and February, performing some of their most beloved songs in a rare and unforgettable live experience.
