Fresh from a sold-out arena tour across UK, Europe and USA, Lewis Capaldi is gearing for his much-anticipated return to Australia and Auckland from July 7
The hyper wave of ecstatic reverberation from northern hemisphere continues, with new shows added in Sydney and Melbourne soon after tickets went on sale.
The singer of the Grammy nominated single Someone You Loved and Before You Go – which have collectively amassed almost 4.5 billion streams on Spotify alone – will captivate fans with new songs from the latest album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent which debuted at number 1 in the UK, Australia, NZ, Scotland and The Netherlands. It peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard charts.
Not a single dry eye is expected during Wish You The Best, the track with one of the most heart wrenching videos of the year. The second single Pointless – which debuted at number 1 on the UK Singles chart, is a song about “being in love” and is collaboratively penned by Johnny McDaid (Snow Patrol), Steve Mac (writer with 30 number 1 singles in the UK) and Ed Sheeran.
Despite only two studio albums to his name, the artist has more accolades including Scottish Music Awards, Brit Award, Global Awards, and Grammy Awards than the space on his trophy cabinets.
As for Perth fans – prepare to be enthralled on July 11th at the RAC Arena, with final tickets remaining from Secret Sounds.
