G Flip has carved out a fierce, unmistakable place in Australia’s modern pop-rock landscape; a multi-instrumentalist, drummer-first powerhouse whose raw honesty, explosive energy, and proudly queer storytelling have turned them into one of the country’s most compelling live acts. From bedroom demos to global stages, G Flip’s evolution has been driven by unfiltered emotion, thunderous percussion, and a magnetic stage presence that pulls audiences straight into the heart of every song.
To close out the tour’s final leg, Georgia Claire Flipo of St Kilda, brought The Dream Ride Tour outdoors and under the stars at the historic Fremantle Art Centre on Saturday night, 14 March 2026, presented by Frontier Touring.

Setting the tone for the night were fellow Aussie singer and actress Ayesha Madon and Canadian indie-rockers The Beaches, whose energetic sets warmed up the crowd and created the perfect atmosphere for the headline act.
From the moment G Flip stepped on stage it was clear the night would be one to remember.
Opening with the punchy “Disco Cowgirl”, G Flip immediately had the Fremantle crowd jumping. The momentum continued through fan favourite “GAY 4 ME”, as the gesture of waving a giant, all-inclusive Progress Pride Flag captured a moment of importance, cementing G Flip as an important voice for pride and inclusivity among LGBTQ+ fans.

Showcasing their multi-instrumental talent and delivering a brassy burst of energy, G Flip took to the saxophone when delivering “I Don’t Wanna Regret”, a highlight of the night. G Flip then taking to their signature position behind the drums for “Good Enough For You”, followed by an explosive drum solo – reminding everyone why they are known as one of the most dynamic performers in Australian music. Instantly recognisable beats of “Rough” followed, with the crowd erupting in anticipation.
Moving effortlessly between instruments, they commanded the stage with charisma and confidence throughout the night, switching back to the saxophone for “Big Ol’ Hammer”.
A throwback to G Flip’s appearance on Triple J’s Like A Version had the crowd singing along to the cover of “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift.

A medley of tunes followed, including “About You, I Am Not Afraid” and “You & I”.
Another instrumental switch to acoustic guitar brought a reflective tone to the evening when G Flip began talking to her fans and thanking them with deep gratitude and heartfelt connection.
“I’m on the verge of crying and trying to keep my sh*t together”, G Flip admitting, wiping away tears as the audience responded with chants of “G Flip! G Flip!” Reflecting on their journey, they thanked fans who have supported them since the beginning, with a shout out to some fans who have attended every Australian tour date. “I don’t take for granted that I get to do this for a living. I pinch myself every day. I’m so thankful that you all support me and rock up. I really appreciate it.”

Sharing stories from their past (including being the orchestra captain in high school) G Flip performed an acoustic rendition of “Australia” telling the audience it felt special to finish the tour “in my favourite place in the world”.
The energy quickly ramping back up with “Lover” and “Be Your Man” before the Fremantle Art Centre lawn transformed into a beach party during “Lez Go”. Friends, and rockers, The Beaches returning to the stage for the fan-favourite anthem as beach balls flew through the crowd and T-shirts were slingshotted into the audience.
Perth photographer, Belle Verdiglione was one among many dedicated fans in the audience, expressing “G Flip turned vulnerability into power and had the entire mosh pit screaming together like family”.

“Bed on Fire” then lived up to its name, igniting the stage and atmosphere, as the night built toward its finale.
Returning for an unforgettable encore, G Flip jumped back behind the drums for 2023 Triple J Hottest 100 Australian favourite, “Worst Person Alive” before closing the show with “In Another Life” bringing the Dream Ride Tour to a powerful end.
Dream Ride is available for purchase and listening on all the usual listening platforms, and physical retailers.
