Live Review: Amore Mio by Platinum Parada

By Drummer Vince Leigh (Pseudo Echo, John Farnham, Tina Arena)

At a music school in Box Hill, Melbourne, Mark, co-founder of Platinum Parade and a composer and co-producer, initially linked with Andry, to form Platinum Parade. He is driven by the urge to make songs that do more than amuse; he wants to address important themes while giving listeners cause to be optimistic and encouraged. This ambition motivates him to compose music.

Mark has been a part of Platinum Parade for some time now, and the experience he gained in the past as a DJ and master of ceremonies has been beneficial to the development of his writing and producing skills. And following the huge success of Another World and Dig Me, the internationally acclaimed electronic production team returns with Amore Mio, another soon-to-be chart-topping hit in the Eurodance genre.

The new song is a feast for fans of current dance-pop music; it has an Italian theme and flavour, captivating piano accordion melodies, passionate vocals sprinkled with Italian, and hypnotic Latin-influenced dance grooves. Amore Mio is an Italian love tale set in the summer, and it features lead vocals sung by European musician Ana Roze. Despite the tranquil rides on gondolas, leisurely strolls through exquisite flower gardens, and picture-perfect surroundings, defects can be detected in more than only the buildings built during the time of the Roman empire.

The verses reveal a sequence of visuals, each with descriptions of expansive landscapes that seem almost too beautiful to be true. The theme’s sombre undertones are echoed in the rich musical landscape generated by the broad EDM palette. This palette integrates a series of dynamics, textured voices, and melodic bursts of pure contemporary pop music into the rich musical environment. Amore Mio was mastered by Studios 301 and developed in conjunction with MSquared Productions.

The music video was shot by Orca Video Art, with assistance from Blackbulb with post-production. Amore Mio is perfectly positioned to become the next Christmas mega hit and the duo’s most major success, given that Platinum Parade’s prior songs have together racked up over one million views on YouTube and counting.
