It follows a landmark run for the ARIA Award–nominated singer-songwriter. Over the past few years, MAY-A has opened for UK band Glass Animals, delivered standout festival performances at Yours & Owls and Rolling Sets, and achieved a career-defining moment when Cyndi Lauper personally invited her onstage to perform Girls Just Want to Have Fun at her sold-out Sydney show. She also topped triple j’s Hottest 100 with Flume for their collaboration Say Nothing, which the pair went on to perform together at Coachella. And last night she took to the stage at the Australian Open with The Kid LAROI – further cementing her status as one of Australia’s most exciting live performers.
