The Matchbox Twenty Slow Dream Tour Is Almost Here – With Limited Tickets Remaining!

Presented by TEG Van Egmond

Time flies. In a few weeks, Matchbox Twenty will perform across 9 cities in 10 Arena shows, kicking off in Perth at the RAC Arena (Sold Out) on 13th of February. The much anticipated tour is in support of the new album Where The Light Goes.

Matchbox Twenty consisting of original members Rob Thomas, (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Brian Yale (bass guitar), Paul Doucette (drums, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), and Kyle Cook (lead guitar, vocals) rose to fame in 1995 through their debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You – which was certified 12 times in the United States, with dizzying success in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Since then, the 10-time Grammy and American Music Awards nominee dominated the airwaves in the 90’s and 00’s with top charting hits such as Push, Unwell, 3AM and If You’ve Gone.

In support of Matchbox is Goo Goo Dolls, famously known for their seminal track Iris (the main track to “City of Angels” starring Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan) – spending 12 months on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and ranked number 1 on Billboard’s “Top 100 Pop Songs 1992-2012”. 19 of their songs went to top ten on various charts.

Channelling the spirit of 90s grunge and country rock, Perth‘s indie rock artist and Western Australian Music Awards golden girl Siobhan Cotchin will spark the nights across the entire tour of Australia.

So as expected and baring a last minute ticket release, the tour is mostly sold out with some seats remaining in Sydney (February 20) and Canberra (February 23) – Good luck!
