Philadelphia 6-piece The Wonder Years have announced their 2025 Australian tour – the band’s
first time down under in over 7 years, with California punks Joyce Manor and Melbourne up-and-comer
Suzi set to join them on all dates.

Forming in 2005, The Wonder Years have become a mainstay on the pop-punk/alternative scene over
the last two decades, with classic albums such as ‘The Upsides’ (2010), ‘Suburbia I’ve Given You All And
Now I’m Nothing’ (2011), ‘The Greatest Generation’ (2013) and ‘No Closer To Heaven’ establishing them as one of the premier pop punk bands throughout the 2010s.

After 7 full length records, two EPs and array of splits/compilations, the band have continued to grow their passionate fan-base over the years – with widespread acclaim their most recent full length LP ‘The Hum Goes On Forever’ (2022) – which received strong praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Kerrang! And Exclaim! upon it’s release.

The band have released a string of singles since their last full length LP, including ‘Year Of The Vulture’ earlier this year – a track that sees The Wonder years at their very best; with thrashy guitars, and frontman Dan Campbell’s signature unhinged vocals taking centre stage.

The band will be bringing a career-spanning set to stages across the country, with dates in Brisbane,Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

“We are absolutely ecstatic to be coming back to Australia early next year. It’s been far too long and we’reextra excited that these are venue shows where we can play full and long sets for y’all. Also, to somehow makeall of this even more incredible, we get to have Joyce Manor, one of our all time favourite bands, and Suzi, who have quickly become one of our new favourites, on these shows with us. It’s truly a dream tour in dreamplaces and we hope to see you there.” DAN CAMPBELL, THE WONDER YEARSJoining The Wonder Years is beloved SoCal punk outt Joyce Manor – returning to Australian shores forthe rst time since 2019.

PRAISE FOR THE WONDER YEARS

here’s a poetic symmetry to the arc of the Wonder Years, a band from the Philadelphia suburbs who woundup, a little older and questionably wiser, in a different Philadelphia suburb. Their incessant self-referentialitymakes this growth all the more emotionally resonant: You can measure your life by the characters inCampbell’s songs, by a riff that returns as a motif, by a lyric that comes back again and again, slightlydifferent each time.” – PITCHFORK

“The Wonder Years have long been masters of a thoughtful kind of melancholy. Always leading from theheart, without getting mawkish, Dan Campbell’s lyrical observations have often found a way to be relatable intheir simplicity.” – KERRANG!

“The Wonder Years give their all on every record, crafting music that is relatable, honest, and fun to listen to.” – NEW NOISE

“The Hum Goes On Forever manages to instill everything we enjoyed from the band over the years, whilst atthe same time evolving their craft into a maturity beyond their years. I’ll denitely be nding myselfsubconsciously going back to many tracks on this album for the next few months to come.”
