WADE FORSTER Drops New Single Ahead of New Album Whilst on Tour
Just one month out from the release of his mammoth 22-track sophomore record Gooseneck Party, award-winning country artist Wade Forster unveils his newest single Emily, out now.
Following recent singles Last of a Dying Breed, Take That Buckle Home, One Night Stand and title track Gooseneck Party, the latest release reveals a more tender side of the outback Queensland cowboy, leaning into the sensitive storytelling that has become his calling card.
“Emily is a song I wrote about a lovely lady who was a part of my life in one of the most testing times and I’ll forever be grateful for her help,” Forster shares.
Currently in the midst of his Dying Breed headline U.S. tour that has seen 15 of 17 shows sell out, Wade has proven himself an unstoppable live force. His Dying Breed Tour has packed out rooms in Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, Nashville, Tulsa, with Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Nashville and more, with multiple venue upgrades along the way.
Back home, his recent slot at Gympie Music Muster drew a packed tent and became one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend. This October, Wade will bring his Dying Breed Tour to Australia. Highlights include performances at Strumming Bird Festival alongside Jelly Roll and Shaboozey, opening for Treaty Oak Revival in Sydney and Melbourne (sold out), and his own headlines dates with Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide already sold out.
Gooseneck Party follows Wade’s 2022 debut The Beginning – a record that landed quietly but has since gone on to stream over 50 million times, introducing his straight-shooting brand of songwriting to audiences across two continents.
In just a few short years, Wade has built an international fanbase that rivals the reach of many major label acts, amassing more than 50 million streams worldwide, winning the prestigious 2024 Toyota Star Maker award as well as the recently announced CMAA Emerging Artist of the Year award. He has since shared stages with global country heavyweights Cody Johnson and Luke Combs, cementing his place as one of the fastest-rising modern voices in the genre, not just in Australia but the United States.

ABOUT WADE FORSTER
Wade Forster is a rodeo cowboy and singer-songwriter from Winton in outback Queensland, whose music hits as hard as the life he leads. Raised and still living on a remote cattle station and hardened on the rodeo circuit, his songs tell it straight—stories of love, loss, resilience, and the battles most blokes don’t talk about.
Since picking up a guitar in 2017, Wade has carved a path on grit and authenticity alone—racking up over 50 million streams without a label. After winning the 2024 Toyota Star Maker and sharing the stage with Cody Johnson and Luke Combs, Wade’s voice is now reaching far beyond the outback. His fanbase stretches deep into the U.S., where sold-out shows and millions of streams have cemented his status as the real deal: a modern cowboy with a voice that cuts through and stories that hit home.
